Airom Bleicher
Bio
Bleicher is a cognitive-expressionist. He creates sound art performances with a highly conceptual component while still retaining a form of emotive musicality. Airom Bleicher’s Musical projects twist controversially on the edge of sound experimentation but with intentional musicality. They include music under his own name as well as Sailfish Pantry, Broken Android, and The Wooden Idols Remixes. His career began October 2003 when he was promoted on Triple J and other radio stations across Australia as part of being chosen for the Noise media festival. This was followed by an Australia Council grant for professional recording of cello and vocal samples and a compilation by psy-harmonics (a label by Oli Olisen and Andrew Till). He now releases work through the Broken Electric label.
